AI enablement for SMEs

Your next AI expert is your whole team.

We build AI capability directly inside your team, from strategy and AI training to an AI culture that keeps growing with you after the project. Everything sits on a GDPR-compliant foundation, and the knowledge you build stays in-house for good.

From a current project A development team of nine at a software company: after three months, every developer works with AI daily, seven build their own AI workflows, and the team works over 30% faster.

Your people are your biggest lever.

There are many ways to bring AI into your business: workshops, one-off automation projects, a new role on the org chart. The biggest and most lasting lever, though, is enabling your whole team to work with AI. The gains are unevenly distributed: according to PwC (2026), 74% of AI productivity gains go to just 20% of companies. Whether an SME ends up among that 20% is being decided right now.

Your people know your processes, your customers, and the quirks of your business better than any consultant. With a sound strategy and the right processes and structures around AI, your team delivers AI-driven improvements across the whole company. The knowledge stays with you and keeps growing through the skills your people learn and the structures we build along the way.

“What matters now is who sees AI as no more than a tool for boosting efficiency, and who begins to build new capabilities with it. This is where the dividing line forms that will shape the years ahead.”
Björn Ommer AI researcher, Professor of Computer Vision at LMU Munich · ZEITmagazin issue 28/2026 (translated from German)

What's your organisation's AI maturity level?

We measure our clients' AI maturity against Gartner's AI maturity model, complemented by Wharton School research into how organisations manage change when introducing AI. The model spans five levels, from first experiments to an AI-centred organisation:

Level 1

Foundational

AI is used sporadically, by individuals on their own. There is neither a shared knowledge base nor a strategy. Employees do not know what kind of AI use is permitted.

Level 2

Emerging

The first AI tools are in use, applied in different ways by different teams. Responsibilities and governance are patchy or poorly communicated.

Level 3

Operational

The first training sessions have been run, a strategy drawn up, and tools assessed and approved for employees. AI is part of everyday work, and the first processes are being optimised with AI.

Level 4

Scaled

AI touches most business processes and is used by all employees. Workflows are increasingly redesigned around AI, and knowledge is shared. AI opens up new business models.

Level 5

Transformational

AI sits at the centre of the organisation's structures and processes. The team operates at the frontier of what AI can do. Knowledge sharing is embedded in the way the organisation works, so improvement sustains itself.

Most mid-sized companies sit at level 1 or 2 today: according to a study (Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, 2025), 40% of SMEs already use AI, but only 21% have an AI strategy. In our free maturity assessment, we'll place your organisation on the AI maturity ladder in just 30 minutes.

Our four-phase model

In four phases, we enable your business to make full use of what AI offers.

1 Phase 1

Status quo and strategy

Team interviews, a status-quo analysis, and a leadership workshop feed into your AI strategy: vision and guidelines, governance and data security, tool selection, prioritised use cases, KPIs, and a roadmap. You'll know where you stand and what's worth pursuing.

2 Phase 2

Training and first automations

In hands-on workshops, your team learns to work confidently with the approved tools. Your first automated workflows give you and your team a sense of what AI can do.

3 Phase 3

Sustainable scaling

Champions from within the team, regular knowledge-sharing sessions, one-to-one coaching for your employees, KPIs, and clear responsibilities make progress self-sustaining and measurable. Your organisation keeps developing on its own after the project.

4 Phase 4

Transformative scaling

Together, we rethink the workflows in your business from the ground up and put AI at the centre: team by team, process by process. This is how ambitious organisations reach the highest maturity level.

Results from a current project

Starting point: A development team of nine at a software company, maturity level 2.

Approach: Three phases in three months: AI strategy and governance with leadership, workshops and workflow automation built together with the team, KPIs and structures for iterative improvement in the third phase.

developers now build their own AI workflows independently

A task that previously took 13 days was finished in 5 hours. Tasks that used to stretch over days because they were split across several teams can now be handled by a single person.

“It completely changed the way I work.”

What our clients say

From a recent AI enablement project. Anonymised at the client's request.

“You were very competent, and not only competent but also human in your approach.”
CXO
“You helped us roll out AI workflows across the company in a structured way, sharing your knowledge in a light, inclusive way. Without you it would have taken longer, and we'd have had to pull people off other tasks.”
Developer
“Instead of ‘just use AI’, you took the time to understand how people felt and what their fears were. You were always open and friendly, and that's what really brought the team on board.”
CISO
“Your ability to explain things clearly, and how quickly you helped whenever a question or obstacle came up, really stood out.”
Developer
“We really needed this change. Without this project, many of us would never have realised how much AI could help us.”

Standalone building blocks

We also offer standalone workshops and ready-made AI workflows for specific processes outside the full programme, either as a way to get started or as a focused add-on.

Generative AI workshop for your team: hands-on training in working responsibly and efficiently with generative AI.
An AI workflow (“skill”) for a process of your choice, delivered ready to use. We automate recurring time sinks for you and give your team room to focus on creative, higher-value work.
