The website is delivered as a static site through Render’s global content delivery network; Render does not assign static sites a selectable single server location. For delivery and DDoS protection, Render uses the global infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) as a sub-processor. In particular, visitor IP addresses and request metadata are processed.

Render and Cloudflare are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Render’s data processing agreement provides Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback if the Data Privacy Framework does not apply or ceases to be available.

Processed data: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, and HTTP status code.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable, and efficient operation of our website.

Storage duration: weitsicht.ai does not maintain its own server logs for this static website; Render does not provide HTTP request logs for static sites. Render and Cloudflare retain technically necessary request and security data under their contractual and legal requirements only for as long as needed for delivery, security, or legal obligations.

If you contact us by email, the data you provide (name, email address, message content) will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry.

We use Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) as our email processor. Data may be transferred to the USA in the process; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google’s data processing agreement additionally provides Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback if the Data Privacy Framework does not apply or ceases to be available.

Storage duration: The data is deleted once the purpose of storage no longer applies (usually after the correspondence has concluded), unless statutory retention obligations apply.

This website stores your preferences exclusively in your browser’s localStorage. The website sets no cookies of its own; cookies are only set by Google Analytics once you have consented.

The first two entries are necessary to remember the cookie setting you expressly selected. The language entry is set only after you dismiss the language suggestion and remembers that express choice (legal basis: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics cookies (only with consent): With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses: the IP address is used only to derive an approximate location and is then discarded, and data from users in the EU is collected on Google servers within the EU. For any transfer to the USA, Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The Google Ads Data Processing Terms that we have accepted additionally provide Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback if the Data Privacy Framework does not apply or ceases to be available.

Storage duration: Cookies set by Google Analytics last up to 2 years. Analytics usage data is deleted automatically after 14 months at the latest.

Legal basis: Your consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer; withdrawal takes effect immediately and deletes the cookies set by Google Analytics.

Marketing cookies: This website currently does not use marketing cookies.

You have the following rights: access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21).

Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR): You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future, for example via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.

No automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR), takes place. You are neither legally nor contractually required to provide personal data; without your contact details, however, we cannot respond to enquiries.

Right to complain: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
