Server location: Frankfurt, Germany. The website is delivered through the global content delivery network of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which Render uses as a sub-processor; visitor IP addresses are processed on Cloudflare servers as part of this delivery.
Render and Cloudflare are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of data protection.
Processed data: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, and HTTP status code.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable, and efficient operation of our website.
Storage duration: Server log files are deleted automatically, usually within 30 days.

We use Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) as our email processor. Data may be transferred to the USA in the process; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Storage duration: Data deleted once the purpose of storage no longer applies.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
This website stores your preferences exclusively in your browser’s localStorage. The website sets no cookies of its own; cookies are only set by Google Analytics once you have consented.

For any transfer to the USA, Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Storage duration: Cookies set by Google Analytics last up to 2 years. Analytics usage data is deleted automatically after 14 months at the latest.
Legal basis: Your consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer; withdrawal takes effect immediately and deletes the cookies set by Google Analytics.
